The Steering Group for the Neighbourhood Development Plan is holding Open Events on Saturday 10 January 2:00-5:00 pm and Sunday 11 January 10:00 am-4:00 pm in the Community Centre.
Where do you think development should occur in Marden? 7 possible development sites which were submitted to the recent ‘Call for Sites’ are either within or adjacent to the Settlement Boundary for Marden. If all these sites were developed there might be an extra 247 houses built in Marden. However the recent consultation results show an almost equal split between residents who would like 40 more houses built and those who would like up to 100 more houses built.
The Steering Group hope that you will come and see the possible options for development sites that are being proposed for allocation in the Plan and find out what this could mean for Marden. This is your chance to comment on important issues in the Draft Plan.
